Sharon Pedersen (NSW)
Sharon is a qualified Trainer and Assessor, with a Bachelor of Music & Education and a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment.
Her many years of experience spans public education, corporate learning and development, and most recently, mental health training. Sharon has been a volunteer telephone crisis supporter since 2006. Her work involvements include: Eight years, training Lifeline Crisis Supporters, for one of the largest Lifeline centres in Australia. Seven years as a TAFE Outreach teacher delivering return-to-work/job-ready courses, working with marginalized students. A Board member of Relationships Australia (NSW) from 2003–2008, involved in strategic planning and corporate training strategy
Today, Sharon delivers a range of courses, including: ASIST and SafeTALK, as well as DV Alert (domestic and family violence training to frontline workers), Mental Health First Aid and customised training, tailored to meet organisational needs. She brings an enthusiasm and inclusiveness to her training and a commitment to making learning interesting, interactive and safe.
